We have been asked by our client to source, screen and qualify candidates for an expansion position in this highly innovative firm.
The client has been on the leading edge of electronic product development for the automobile service industry and is continuing to be the leader in newest technology.

The successful candidate needs to be intelligent, creative, have exceptional problem solving skills and be a team player. He or she must have solid experience in hardware, firmware and power supplies are aplus.
This individual will supervise and support thelayout boards, program chips, design new products in the inverter and charger lines. This requires 300 -500 volt and power wave modulation (PWM) experience.
Battery Charging Systems
Power Supply Development
Equipment Control Systems
Transformer design and selection
Conduct testing utilizing existing test protocols or develop new ones as needed.
Generate written protocols and reports to support UL, CSA, TUV product certifications.
Complete projects (including product enhancements) in a manner consistent with corporate objectives.
Contribute to the intellectual property position of the company via invention and patent applications.
Maintain accurate documentation of concepts, designs, drawings, and processes.
Maintain current knowledge of competitive technologies.
Provide electrical engineering and technical support of products introduced into both the domestic and international markets.
Work with Supply Chain Management to oversee outside vendors and consultants as required.
Provide electrical engineering support in the resolution of product complaints and/or safety issues.
Work with other engineering, manufacturing, sales and marketing and quality assurance staff to coordinate pilot production of
BSE, EET, or BSEE degree.
Leadership: a demonstrated ability to lead people and get results through others.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Experience in circuit design, board layout, component selection and production release
Experience in Lean Manufacturing and Quality environments.new products.
Travel 10% of the time.
Personal Strengths: Good communication skills. The ability to concentrate when there are distractions.
Be able to manage and prioritize multiple projects. The ability to put in the time required to complete a project on time.
Support company goals and objectives, policies and procedures, and Quality System Regulations.
Performs other duties as may be required by supervisor.
