DescriptionSuccessful Tier 1 is looking for a SeniorHardwareDesign Engineer for autonomous driving products (level 3 to level 5). The main responsibilities willHardwaredesign on PCBs, schematic capture, analysis software. Good understanding of Cost of BOM. Design and development of electronic designs to meet customer and automotive requirements. You will be part of the Core design group of electronichardwarefeatures including digital electronics and signal integrity experience will be necessary.ResponsibilitiesResponsible to assist or have full ownership of thehardwaredesigns on electronic control modules.Support new designs and/or quoting activities.Responsible to find solutions to circuit design and system issues.Perform worst case circuit analysis and simulations.Work directly with component suppliers and global team on the selection of components.Set up and perform electrical bench and vehicle tests.Support product validation and related troubleshooting activities.Perform required development tasks to successfully launch designs into production.RequirementsBS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, or related Engineering discipline is required. MS is preferred.Experience with design and worst-case analysis of electronic circuits and components.Automotive experience designinghardwareanalog, digital, Signal IntegrityMust have CAN and/or Ethernet design knowledge.Must have hands-on experience with electronic lab equipment to run tests and create test reports.Must be able to debug electronic circuits and determine the root cause of failures.Must be able to effectively communicate with customers, suppliers, and global team members.Must have the ability to create supporting technical documentation for modules.Prefer experience designing circuits from the requirements phase, then working through worst-case analysis, validation, and then into production.Prefer experience with CAN and Ethernet component and system design.
