As a Senior Structural Engineer you will be responsible for leading design of structural systems for buildings across a variety of sectors including Higher Education, K-12, Arts & Culture, Justice/Civic, Retail, Hospitality and Energy. You will lead structural engineering teams to produce high-quality construction documents using Revit and manage project schedules to meet deliverable requirements.As part of the integrated design team, you will collaborate closely with other disciplines to produce highly integrated building designs.

You will be responsible for leading the design process of structural building systems and preparing detailed structural engineering drawings and calculations. Responsibilities include management of Structural Designers and/or other team members.
The successful candidate will:
Collaborate with architects, other engineers, and clients as part of our integrated design process
Createand coordinatedocuments using Revit
Perform structural calculations including code research
Write and review specifications
Review shop drawings, RFIsand submittals
Conduct site visits when needed
Manage structural project teams and/or interdisciplinary project teams
Bachelor's degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering
10+ years of buildings structural engineering experience, including the design of concrete, masonry, steel, wood materials; gravity and lateral systems
Licensed Structural Engineer (SE) in California
Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) in California
Working knowledge of current structural software (ETABS, SAP2000, SAFE, RAM, ADAPT, RISA, Enercalc)
Goal oriented with strong skills in problem solving, creativity, and attention to detail
Understanding of commercial building materials, systems, and assemblies
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Masters degree in Civil/Structural or Architectural/Structural Engineering
Experience and interest in sustainable building design
Experience with BIM including Autodesk Revit workflow
DSA and/or OSHPD project experience
