Anti-Viral Scientific Director
Job Location: North chicago, IL
Experience: 5-12 years of experience
The Scientific Director will oversee the Antiviral Regional Medical Director team. In collaboration with the Antiviral clinical and commercial groups, the Scientific Director will oversee development of strategic objectives, and ensuring aligned tactical performance. The Scientific Directors team is responsible for providing scientific and medical input into commercial activities such as symposia, advisories, investigator initiated and affiliate studies, product launches and affiliate training.
In addition, the Scientific Director will foster lines of communication between product franchise groups, sales force, outcomes group, managed health care, government, regulatory, and global project team organizations.
It is required that this person hold an advanced degree (e.g., PhD, PharmD, PA, NP, MD or equivalent) and have 3-5 years clinical experience in HIV management with an additional 3+ years in the pharmaceutical industry in HIV medical affairs. It is highly preferred that this person have previous management experience.
