Location and Description: A hospital in northwest New Mexico is seeking a Staff Nurse for the day shift in the Critical Care Unit. Facility: A medium size modern acute care hospital has the normal Med/Surgical and critical care units with ancillary and supports departments. The nursing staff has an excellent reputation in the community. The critical care unit is a state of the are environment and is considered the focal point of the hospitlal.
Position Reports to: Manager, Critcal Care
Qualifications: ASN/Diploma in nursing with a minimum of 1 year of clinical experience in a medical/surgical unit at an acute care hospital. Be eligible for licensure in New Mexico. This is an excellent opportunity to grow with a facility.

Responsibilities: The Staff Nurse will be responsible for providing the normal nursing care to Critical Care patients patients following the treatment protocols that have been established. The person will be responsible for performing the nursing process via assessment, implementation, evaluation of safe and therapeutic care, for patients with medical conditions.
