Area Supt - Automation Electrical In

Position Overview
Supervise team responsible for automation, electrical and instrumentation (AEI). Ongoing training of procedures and technique. Develop and implement reliability centered maintenance programs for the plants automation, electrical and instrumentation equipment. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited too, improving process control, Root cause analysis, implementing new instrumentation and documentation. Engaging with business unit to measure, report and improve AEI performance.
Principal Accountabilities:
35 Supervise Automation, Electrical and Instrumentation technicians. Training of procedures and troubleshooting techniques.
35 Develop and implement RCM programs for automation, electrical and instrumentation equipment. Network with business unit resources to implement and innovate best practices in the area of automation, electrical and instrumentation. Participate in BU efforts in documentation and implementation of standards and best practices.
10 Troubleshoot AEI issues using root cause analysis techniques. Implement processes to improve equipment and control reliability.
10 Work with Automation to improve process control capability and reliability
5 Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.
5 Work in cooperation with division efforts with respect to best practice standards/implementation.
Required
Bachelors degree in Engineering or equivalent technical discipline OR four years equivalent automation, electrical, or instrumentation experience.
Minimum 8 years instrumentation and electrical experience
Minimum 3 years controls experience / knowledge
Demonstrated leadership ability
Knowledge of RCM and ability to apply PM technologies.
Knowledge of RCA and ability to implement root cause solutions.
Looking for a strong supervisor who can manage 10 - 15 reports.
