Director of Perioperative Services

InterWest Search, Inc., has been chosen to assist a 180 bed hospital located in Napa Valley, CA in its search for a Director of Perioperative Services. The hospital has an excellent management team and it seeks a new partner to lead the perioperative services of the hospital.
The Director of Perioperative Services has the overall direction and supervision of the surgical activities of the hospital. Consults with staff, physicians, and the VP of PCS. Responsible to assist and ensure follow-through with the development of department goals, objectives, standards of care and performance, policies and procedures. The Nurse Manager participates with leaders from the management, medical staff and clinical areas in planning, promoting and conducting organization wide performance-improvement activities. Position is both managerial and clinical in nature. Responsible for full scope of surgeries including general, vascular, open heart, laproscopic, gen, ORT, ENT, eye surgeries. Hospital is leading edge in laparoscopic endo procedures. All minimally invasive.
Requirements
Bachelors of Science in Nursing required. Masters degree preferred. Minimum three years experience in all aspects of surgical nursing. Minimum two years supervisory/ management experience.
