Applications Engineer - Display Power
Job Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Experience: 3-10 years of experience
The company is a well established worldwide leader in design, development, and manufacture of linear and mixed-signal integrated circuits (ICs).
Their core business is Power Management ICs and they have a wide variety of applications and markets, including: Personal computers and peripherals, Process control, Instrumentation, Test equipment, Handheld devices, Wireless and Fiber communications, and Video displays.
They are in need of an Applications Engineers with power supply design backgrounds for their Display Power group.

Description:
Applications Engineers Display Power
The company is looking for an Applications Engineers to work in the Displays Division. The position will be for junior to senior level engineers with excellent power supply design skills.
Depending on experience level the responsibilities will include:
Designing Power Supply Evaluation Kits for displays. The kits will include AC/DC, DC/DC, and DC/AC designs with buck, boost, and bridge topologies. The majority of the designs will be DC/DC high frequency.
Writing technical articles and data sheets.
Represent company and give technical presentations to customers and conferences where appropriate.
Visit customers to define power supply specifications and evaluate designs.
Senior level candidate will work closely with the customers and IC design team to define ICs for future applications.
Requirements:
BSEE with Greater than 3 years experience. MSEE is preferred.
Design experience in a power supply design company or application experience in a semi company working on power management ICs.
IC design experience with power management is a plus.
Applications Engineering experience is a plus.
Power supply design for displays is a plus.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Reports to Display Manager
