Registered Nurse - Senior Clinical Manag
Job Location: Phoenix, AZ
Experience: 3 year(s) of experience
Major Healthcare Group with state-of-the-art technology and equipment is looking for a SENIOR CLINICAL MANAGER for a 400-bed facility, including a level II trauma center.
Provides managerial and/or clinical support to patients and staff.
Supervises employees and participates in selection, orientation, counseling, evaluation and staff scheduling.
Responsible for staff competencies. Has 24 hour responsibility for the provision of high quality, safe and cost effective patient care, environmental control and customer service.
This position is able to function as the Director of Nursing during his/her absence.
Maintains a depth and breadth of clinical and management knowledge to advance the nursing profession.
Inspires leadership skills in all nursing positions.
Requirements:
Requires a registered nurse with a current AZ or compact state license, or eligibility.
Demonstrated leadership ability and at least three years of clinical experience.
Ability to build and maintain effective communication and working relationships with staff, physicians, patients and their families is required.
A Bachelors degree is strongly preferred a Masters degree a defininte asset.
