Job Location: Sunnyvale, CA
Experience: 10 year(s) of experience
Join a recognized worldwide leader in analog and mixed signal semiconductors. This person will be a key addition to the company staff, spearheading the business planning, business development and new product development path for the RF and Wireless business segment comprising over 100 talented individuals and annual revenue exceeding $100 million. You will have PL responsibility and the very real opportunity to direct the business unit in a realatively short term.
Responsibilities include:
Generate the near term and long range product line strategy
Work with the engineering and marketing staff to define new products.
Drive new products through the development cycle
Generation of product introduction materials to successfully promote and position products
Participate in product launches, datasheet reviews, and product introduction meetings
Generate New Product Proposals (NPPs) and cost justifications.
Travel as required to go out and seek new product ideas
Work with the tactical marketing team to ensure product forecast, delivery, and pricing are current
Participate in setting quarterly revenue targets and forecast reviews with Tactical Marketing
Responsible for setting quarterly Field Sales and FAE goals as they apply to the product line
Development of product value propositions and product positioning using MarCom and PR
Interfacing with market analysts, reporters, and editors
Writing and publishing industry related articles that promote your product line
Qualifications:
BSEE. MSEE/PhD-EE/MBA preferred. Candidates should have a strong technical background in RF and wireless technology, preferably having begun their career in a design capacity. Candidates should also have a very strong marketing and/or business development background. Candidates should have a very clear record of consistant advancement in their career into prositions of increasing responsibility.
