Assistant Project Manager -Geotechnical
Job Location: New haven, CT
Experience: 4-6 years of experience
An ENR top 100 firm is seeking an Assistant Geotechnical Project Manager for their New Haven, CT office. The successful candidate will be working on large-scale projects and must have diverse and proven geotechnical engineering experience. The candidate must have the ability and desire to develop new clients, and expand services of existing clients while maintaining strong billability. The candidate will be responsible for preparing proposals, technical reports, specifications and construction plans, designing retaining walls and foundations, and must have had previous comprehensive field experience associated with foundation construction. In addition, the candidate will be responsible for reviewing the work of staff and managing performance, running projects, managing billings and interacting with Associates and Principals of the firm.
Requirements:
- MS degree with geotechnical specialty
- PE license (CT preferred)
- 4-6years of US geotechnical consulting experience
- Strong leadership and decision-making skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Must be self-motivated and responsible
- Ability to work well managing others as well as work independently and,
- Availability to work over time.
