Duties Responsibilities:
XProcess Engineer will work as part of the Design for Manufacturability Assembly (DFMA) team to customize and apply Boothroyd Dewhurst (BDI) DFMA software
XApplication of process mapping in new product development environment including facilitation of concurrent engineering process mapping sessions relating to sub-assembly processing and part processing
XDevelopment of product cost information based on the BDI software and assistance in the development and maintenance of Product Design-to-Cost (DTC) Worksheets
XAssisting in the development of Shop Standards that will reside in DFMA Libraries
Desirable Qualifications:
XBachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes) or equivalent OR Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering (with strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles) OR Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (with strong knowledge of industrial and manufacturing engineering principles)
X5+ years manufacturing and/or industrial engineering experience
XAdvanced skills and knowledge utilizing BDI DFMA software
XExperience developing shop standards for a manufacturing environment and understanding of shop floor work measurements and data
XAdvanced skills and knowledge utilizing Microsoft Visio and/or Pert Chart Expert Software
XHands on experience with writing process documentation, creation of training materials and communication of project data
Minimum Qualifications:
XBachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering (with strong knowledge of manufacturing processes) or equivalent OR Bachelor of Science in Manufacturing Engineering (with strong knowledge of industrial engineering principles) OR Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering (with strong knowledge of industrial and manufacturing engineering principles)
X5+ years manufacturing and/or industrial engineering experience
X2+ years experience utilizing BDI DFMA software
XAdvanced knowledge of statistical techniques
XApplicants must be a U.S. Citizen and be able to qualify for a government security clearance
