Description
Under leadership of the CFO, responsible for management oversight for all Patient Financial Services processes. Implement new programs and procedures to improve services, operations and efficiency.
Attend monthly chart audit meetings regular Medicare compliance meetings.
Ensure all corporate required reports are submitted correctly and on time.
Monitor daily cash and adjustment stats and share them with staff.
Review aged A/R monthly and route claims requiring special attention.
Review and approve charity application, refunds and high dollar adjustments.
Monitor the unbilled reports and work with necessary departments to move these claims to final bill status.
Direct in-house collections, insurance and central scheduling/DHS departments
Knowledge of CPSI (Computer Programs and Systems) or similar systems
Keep CFO informed of process improvements and outstanding staff performance.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelors degree REQUIRED
Experience: Minimum of 5+ years of current hospital patient financial management with a consistent process improvement results REQUIRED
