SAP FI/CO Configuration Analyst
Job Location: Canton, OH
Experience: 3-5 years of experience
The SAP FI/CO Configuration Analyst will develop functional requirements for existing and new software tools as well as assist in gathering and analyzing work group data, defining current processes, researching best practices, and identifying workflow improvements. The successful candidate will have a desire to immerse themselves in the business, understand the who, what, how and why, and develop optimized, cost-effective work process recommendations. Communicates with team, customers and vendors in advance of planned changes and develops and manages user acceptance activities. Most critically, the Configuration Analyst acts as an advocate for the business groups within the IS organization and through this advocacy helps management to balance competing objectives and set implementation priorities.
Description:
Responsible for new development and production support of SAP
Working with users to understand business requirements
Documenting business processes, test scripts, and functional specifications
Configuring and testing the system
Creating master data
Mapping data for conversions
Providing training
Responding to users requests for system support, changes, or enhancements
Participation in the full project life cycle including blueprinting, configuration, testing, training and post implementation assistance during the SAP project.
Requirements:
3 to 5 years of experience configuring and administering SAP FI/CO
Solid understanding of SAP R/3
SAP ECC 5.0 or higher
Bachelors Degree or equivalent work experience
Strong understanding of application and database development concepts
Strong analytical problem-solving skills and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively on cross-functional project teams are required
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft applications (PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Visio, and Project)
