The global leader in providing weather-driven business solutions is seeking an enthusiastic, bright and experienced C, .NET UI Software Engineer to join a four (4) person team and work on both Win and Webform application development. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Be a hands on contributor for the look, feel and functionality of several unique, innovative and heavily relied-on websites programmed in C (GUI Development)
Enhance and develop the UI, C code of all existing and future desktop and web applications
Work closely with other .NET developers and product design teams before the implementation of the UI code
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor or Masters degree in Computer Science or related field
2+ years experience with .NET software development
3+ years experience of GUI development work in a Windows Environment
Experience in both Winform and Webform application development
Either experience in or possesses an interest in learning Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
High potential to learn and keep up-to-date with the most cutting-edge technologies
Must be a self-starter and self-motivator who works well with others
Takes pride in their work and understands the impact they will make when working for a global leader
BONUS SKILLS + STRENGTHS:
Background/experience with medical device software and/or medical imaging software
C++ experience
WPF experience is a huge plus!
Experience with Agile software development methodology
Experience with SQL query optimization and performance tuning
Real-time development experience
Microsoft Certification
High involvement with UI code (more than just surface level)
Enjoys a challenge and a heavy coding environment
High potential to develop and master their GUI skills and UI coding abilities!
