A dynamic and fast-growing company that helps raise money for non-profits through their online web pages is seeking three (3) VB.NET or C developers to join their 20-person company. This is a hard-working organization that needs people who have solid .NET development skills and experience and are interested in technology and programming for the greater good.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Migrate existing Classic ASP and VB6 web applications to ASP.NET, VB.NET/C
Develop new company website using VB.NET or C
Work closely with the in-house development team of 5 people, off-site UK based development team and the on-site QA team to enhance and develop easy to use web applications and tools
All new development and enhancements will be with .NET 2.0 technologies. Specific programming languages used will be ASP.NET, VB.NET/C, classic ASP, HTML, JavaScript, XML, XSLT SQL Server
QUALIFICATIONS:
2+ years experience with ASP.NET and VB.NET or C
3+ years with classic ASP
Strong SQL Server experience
HTML
CSS (style sheets and tables)
JavaScript
XML and XSLT
Having a passion for helping others and for technology
BONUS SKILLS + STRENGTHS:
Experience with N-Tier Layered Architecture
Strong grasp of Object Oriented concepts and programming
Experience with UML, CSLA framework, NUnit, test harness and web services
Familiarity with cross browser compatibility
Has a good sense of humor and has the ability to have fun while at work
COMPENSATION:
Salary:
All three (3)openings are classified as mid-senior level VB.NET development positions
Salary is flexible/open and will depend on individual experience and skills
80K + DOE
