.NET Desktop Developer
Job Location: Boston, MA
Experience: 3-5 years of experience
Looking for a Mid Level or Senior .NET Desktop development position within the Booming Healthcare Industry
One of the largest and most respected medical device companies in the world is looking for 2 .NET desktop developers to join a team of 7 people and to work on several complex and high impacting applications. This company is looking for 1 mid level developer and 1 senior level developer and can offer both developers a supreme benefits package and overall development environment being a world leader and publicly traded company.
KEY JOB FUNCTIONS:
-Be a hands on contributor in the development of software that will allow communication between medical devices and its users.
-The software will have a direct impact on the Healthcare and medical field ultimately having an impact on millions of people across the world.
-These positions will involve 90 New Development and 10 updates/maintenance of existing applications.
-All development is within the .NET framework and will require Object Oriented Design and Development Skills and experience.
-Core technologies used will be C and SQL Server 2000 + 2005.
QUALIFICATIONS:
-Mid Level developers are expected to have 3+ years of overall programming experience.
-Senior Level Developers are expected to have 5+ years of overall development experience.
-Must have strong Object Oriented design and development experience using .NET technologies.
-Prior experience developing Desktop applications is key to success in these positions.
-SQL Server 2000 + 2005
-Stored Procedures
-Strong C middle tier development skills and abilities.
-All candidates need be motivated and detail oriented.
-Must have a positive attitude towards working closely with other in a team and towards driving new .NET development initiatives.
BONUS SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES:
-C++
-Previous experience developing healthcare or medical device related applications/software.
-Multithreading experience
-Experience with State machines and running instruments.
-Degree in Computer Science or a related technical area.
