A consulting firm that specializes in leading edge development of custom HR software solutions for Americas Fortune 100 companies is seeking an extremely smart, professional and can-do .NET web developer. This company has a current team of five people and the role of this senior .NET programmer will be to contribute in all phases of the Software Life Cycle for custom built and architected MS web applications.
The right candidate is someone who takes initiative on their own accord and will welcome the challenge of being given the freedom to directly put their ideas and creativity into the design and architecture of custom development projects.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Juggle multiple web applications at once and custom build HR related .NET applications to be implemented and used by the CEO and Vice Presidents of Americas largest companies.
Work closely with the CEO and Vice Presidents of various billion dollar organizations to gather specifications and requirements and provide real time feedback for potential solutions.
This company wants someone who is interested in doing what is necessary to meet client deadlines and interests, which means candidates must be open to helping out in whatever the task may be (i.e. one day could be doing support or help desk tasks simply because its what needs to get done). In this way, the right person will swallow their pride for a few hours no matter how senior they may be, and take initiative.
QUALIFICATIONS:
3-8 years of overall development experience
3+ years developing MS .NET web applications.
VB.NET (preferred) or C
ASP.NET
JavaScript
AJAX
Experience working with a SQL Server database
Strong proficiency in XML and data extraction
Client facing skills
Interest in Project Management and team lead situations
Great communication skills and excels in a team
BONUS SKILLS AND SKILLS:
Crystal Reports
Interested in Business processes
Open to working in a smaller sized company and getting hands dirty with various projects all at once
Ability to multi-task
