Providing web-based consulting solutions and unique custom made applications, our client needs a talented .NET developer who is experienced in developing web applications using VB.NET and SQL Server 2000 + 2005. With a top-notch 11 person development team already in place, this opportunity calls for a smart, quick-to-learn and focused team player that flourishes from team collaboration. There is an immediate need for candidates to jump in and contribute from day 1, so prior web development experience in VB.NET, ASP.NET + SQL Server is a must!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Work closely with high volume SQL Server databases and develop custom made web applications determined by end-user specifications
All development will be web-based using VB.NET, ASP.NET + SQL Server
QUALIFICATIONS:
3+ years experience in overall software development
2+ years experience in .NET 2.0 Web technologies
VB.NET ASP.NET 2.0 web development
SQL Server 2000 + 2005
T-SQL
SSIS
Creative problem solving
Experience with the Full Life Cycle Development of web applications
BONUS SKILLS + STRENGTHS:
Ajax
XML +XSLT
Data warehousing experience
Experience with Data Load + Data clean-up
Strong Communicator and excellent team player attitude
