Cardiology Manager
Job Location: Olympia, WA
Experience: 1-20 years of experience
Greater Lewis County covers 2,452 square miles and includes many scenic locations, including Mt. St. Helens National Volcanic Monument, Mt. Rainier National Park, The Gifford Pinchot National Forest, Mt. Adams, the Tatoosh Wilderness, the Goat Rocks Wilderness, and is a gateway to the ocean beaches.

The area boasts a generally moderate climate with warm, dry summers and mild winters.
Manages and facilitates the day to day functioning of the Cardiac Cath Lab and Echocardiography Lab operations. Responsible for communication with Cardiologists, other physicians, Heart Program Director, departments providing the continuum of care to cardiac patients, patients, families and others. Other responsibilities include formulating department goals and objectives, budget planning, developing procedure protocols, developing and tracking Performance Improvement Plans (PIP), and updating operating policies and procedures. Manages and evaluates department personnel and activities.
Education:
A Bachelor65533s Degree is preferred with an equivalent of registration as a Registered Cardiovascular Technologist (RCIS/RCNS) or AART (American Registry of Radiological Technologists), or Registered Nurse.
Experience:Five years experience within the Cardiac Service Line is mandatory. Two years of supervisory experience is preferred. Current licensures, ACLS and BLS certifications are required. Knowledge, skills, and proven abilities in finance/analysis, evaluation and implementation of information technology, team development, purchasing and negotiating with vendors is required.
