Closing Coordinator

Job Location: Pittsburgh, PA
Responsibilities of the Closing Coordinator:
  • Review title commitments for clearance
  • Obtain approval from lenders for loan closings
  • Confirm information such as dates, location, documents, and funds for closings with borrowers
  • Creation of accurate title commitments for designated states by given deadline
  • Order all inspections as needed
  • Formulate purchase settlement statements from beginning to end
  • Clear any and all title issues, secure payoffs for liens
  • Prepare Hud-1s, settlement statements, and closing disclosures
  • Deliver final policies
  • Handle any post-closing issues
  • All other duties as assigned

Qualifications for the Closing Coordinator
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years' work experience with real estate closings, titles, and/or deed prep
  • Strong multi-tasking and prioritizing skills
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Proficiency with computers, MS Office Suite, and general office equipment

The Closing Coordinator position is a full-time, temporary-to-hire opportunity.
