Accountant

Our client, a progressive healthcare organization is seeking an Accountant. This is a retained search.
Responsibilities include:
Coordinates general accounting functions and ensures general ledger accuracy.
Reviews all financial computer driven reporting and audits for accuracy and completeness.
Prepares financial reports for hospital, clinics and foundation.
Establishes and maintains schedules for all financial reports and coordinates with user departments and information systems to ensure timely reporting.
Assists with budget preparation.
Monitors bank accounts and recommends cash transfers.
Maintains and updates fixed asset records.

Requirements
Qualifications include:
BS degree in Accounting or Finance with CPA designation preferred.
1-3 years of applicable accounting experience.
Healthcare or public accounting backgrounds are preferred, but will consider others.
Must have excellent interpersonal skills to work with various departments throughout the organization.
Must have strong computer/technology capabilities. EXCEL or ACCESS proficiency is desired.
