Primary Responsibilities: - Provide customer support and problem resolution for various optimization products within the scope of a typical Maintenance Agreement - Maintain regular customer contact and manage customer expectations - Provide training and demos for existing and potential customers at the customer site or Customer Support Center - Conduct periodic benefits analyses and ensure that all installations continue to provide benefits for all customers Requirements:- BS (ME, EE or ChE) -- Advanced degrees would be a plus - 5+ years experience; will consider other exceptional candidates
- Experience with modeling steady state and/or real-time industrial systems with commercial products (e.g. Aspen Plus, Chemcad, Hysys,Pro II, RTOpt, ROMeo, etc.)
- Experience with industrial process control systems (PLCs and DCS systems like Bailey, Westinghouse, Foxboro, Allen-Bradley, etc.)
- Functional experience in the power generation industry
- Strong organizational, time management and multi-tasking skills is a must
- Strong problem-solving and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with computer hardware & Windows-based software like SQL server, and Windows 2003 server
- Experience applying modeling, optimization and simulation technologies to industrial processes - Experience in power plants: operations, performance engineering, control systems, etc. broad depth in the area of power plant operations Boiler, Combustion, Turbine Controls, Condenser, Feed Water Heaters, Pump Controls, Etc.
- Travel required (TYPICALLY 15-30% 3-5 DAYS PER MONTH NO WEEKENDS) NEED YOU AT SITE TO ANSWER PHONE CALLS AND USE THE REMOTE DIAGNOSTIC SOFTWARE, DEBUG AND TROUBLE SHOOTING
MUST HAVES This position requires that you have experience in the Control Field for Fossil Fuel Power Generation Plants
