SPACE INTELLIGENCE SUPPORT



This professional will provide extensive research and analysis of foreign space-related strategy, doctrine, tactics, operations, force structure and subordination, deployment and capabilities, and long term trends.



Additionally, the position will review raw data, analyze systems and facilities, determine vulnerabilities and threats, select nodes, and produce all-source finished intelligence on foreign space capabilities and employment and threats to U.S. space employment.




NOTE:


Travel:There may beoccasions to travel from their regular duty location to a temporary duty location.


If selected you will be:




  • Preparing, integrating, briefing and publishing broad and complex all-source space intelligence studies, papers, briefings, and assessments in coordination with other Agency elements and Intelligence Community components on space and counter space issues influencing senior decision makers in acquisition, operational, and policy making communities.


  • Proposing new or revised analytical products to alert decision makers to new developments and to meet customer requirements.


  • Participating with teams on special projects or studies of considerable scope and depth critical to the resolution of space and counter space issues and problems


  • Supporting a network of contacts with component and national level space intelligence organizations to maintain situational awareness and ensure analytical findings are sound, based upon all-source research, and provide a functional perspective on relevant existing and emerging space threats.

We are looking for the following qualifications:



  • US Citizenship and an ACTIVE TS/SCI security clearance are required

  • A bachelors degree in a technical field or equivalent and two to four years of experience (or Associates of Applied Science in Computer Systems Technology Evolution, CCAF)

  • Advanced and Demonstrated Knowledge of the Concepts, Principles, and Methodologies of Intelligence Analysis on Space/Counter-space Issues

  • Basic Understanding of Orbital Analysis

  • Firewall Generation and Maintenance Course

  • Test and Evaluating Security Platforms

  • Mechanistic Architecture Development Basic and Advanced Courses

  • MNR Typological Secure and Data Encryption Course

  • Introduction to Technological Linguistic Development
