This division has over 200 million in sales and the parent company is considered one of the best managed companies in the United States. They have grown to approximately 800 employees at this location in the last 3 years. They supply to major OEMs in their industry. The position is located in a rural region of PA for all those nature enthusiasts and lovers of the great outdoors.
This position will coordinate Materials Planning which includes regular Production meetings, and generation of standardized production status charts. This person must effectively understand, communicate, and manage resolution of material or production issues that jeopardize attainment of customer delivery objectives. Will be responsible for generation, publication, and monitoring of Production Control metrics, and coordinate Scheduling Activities.
Qualified candidates will possess a minimum of 5 to 10 years experience in Production Control or Materials Planning experience utilizing MRP and Shop Floor Control in an industrial manufacturing environment. Candidates MUST HAVE strong ERP/MRP system experience (preferably Oracle). Must possess a flexible attitude and strong customer service and communication skills. Strong personal computer skills, with experience in MS Office applications is a must. 4 year college degree is required, and APICS participation/certification is preferred.
