Hardware Design Manager for a rapidly growing engineering team and organization in an exciting new product development program. The qualified candidate must possess both strong people management and technical skills as it relates to hardware engineering. The ideal candidate will be in a technical management position which would include personnel responsibilities, budgets, schedules, etc and also have a strong understanding of analog, digital, and embedded software systems design. Important attributes include the ability to mentor and build a strong engineering organization with the ability to drive new product development programs. The ability to inplement improved reliability, processes, performance and simulation tools for a multi-generation technology plan is crucial. Wireless or RF experience would be beneficial but not crucial. The products are all microprocessor based and requires the person to have a record of achievement in driving and bringing new products to the market place. Must have strong team building and communication abilities along with the technical background to lead this growing hardware organization.
