The Director of Quality Management is responsible for coordination, development and evaluation of all outcome activities including Quality Improvement, Risk Management and Patient Satisfaction Survey. This key self-directed position is also responsible for coordinating, educating and supervising accreditation/certification/licensing survey activities. The DQM is an integral part of the collaborative team and requires leadership skills to assist in creating and maintaining an environment/culture to enable fulfillment of their mission and goals. Position reports to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO).
Position Requirements: Current California RN (Registered Nurse) license or eligible; Bachelors Degree with Masters degree preferred; Minimum of three (3) years in an acute care setting; Experience in coordinating and supervising accreditation/certification survey activities; Managing multiple departments; JCAHO, CMA, DHS (Title 22) and demonstrated experience in working effectively with multiple departments on confidential issues in a positive, constructive manner; Experience Implementing successful systems to exceed patient expectations and clinical outcomes; Risk management laws and reporting requirements.
