MECHANICAL EQUIPMENT ENGINEER Norwalk, Iowa
Duties:
Engineer will help with the organizing, planning, and scheduling, Layout design, estimation analysis and inspection, selection of equipment, supplies and services. Write specification and project scopes. Manage equipment installations. Manage vendors, craftsman, and critical path time lines to stay on schedule and on budget. Create mechanical engineering drawings that include plan views, elevation views, assembly instructions, detailed maintenance & troubleshooting documentation. Write internal orders & requisitions for capital & expense projects. Manage multiple projects at a time. Estimate budgeting, manage spare parts strategy and be a strong communicator. Work closely with other departments such as maintenance, safety, Industrial and Process Engineering. Prepare presentations and reports about your project status.
Requirements:
BS/BA Degree in Engineering 3-5 years manufacturing experience Project experience with production equipment specifications, justifications & installations. Experience with production equipment layout, design, selection and inspection. Experience working with Maintenance and Process groups troubleshooting equipment. Strong computer skills. Leadership skills.
