ONCOLOGY SERVICE-LINE DIRECTOR - full-time position for a Regional Cancer Center
RESPONSIBILITIES:
This position is responsible for developing, implementing, administering and monitoring the successful performance of our Regional Cancer Center. The Oncology Service-Line Director has primary responsibility for planning, integration, facilitation, coordination and marketing of cancer related services across the continuum. The Director works collaboratively with the Cancer Center Medical Director, the Cancer Program Operating Board, the Cancer Committee, Our Health System (MHS) nursing leadership and hospital management to achieve strategic goals. The Oncology Service-Line Director serves as the primary contact for the community, medical staff, and referring physicians relative to cancer services and issues.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Masters Degree in Nursing, health related field or business
Minimum of 3 years management experience, preferably in oncology services
Demonstrated competence in program development, marketing, and performance improvement
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Prior experience building collaborative physician relations
