Job description:
The E/M Design Engineer will develop detailed design data(layouts, drawings, parts lists, etc) for various items of electromechanical support equipment. This includes cables, wiring harnesses, test adapters, circuit cards, chassis?, test fixtures, etc. Responsibilities include preparation of design data, liaison with procurement, manufacturing, and outside vendors.
The E/M Design engineer will also develop Technical Directive Documents and Airframe Bulletins.

Experience Requirements/Skills:
Applicant must have experience with the electrical design and mechanical packaging of electronic assemblies, cables, and adapters the candidate must have experience in the use of CAD software.
The ability to read Aircraft drawings ,the ability to do technical writing and the knowledge and use of Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel are required, Experience with CATIA V4. Experience with EIDS/Team Center is preferred. Associate Degree or higher is required.
