Senior Counterintelligence Analyst
Serve as a senior Counterintelligence Analyst specializing as threat analysis specialist for USSTRATCOM Directorate of Intelligence. Provides direction, management, oversight and coordination of counterintelligence collection requirements and emphases and activities throughout the DoD in order to protect personnel, operations and resources from Foreign Intelligence Service threats targeting USSTRATCOM global missions. Supports USSTRATCOM FIS analysis and production program, prepares multidisciplinary FIS related finished intelligence analysis reports and provides focused FIS-related support to counterintelligence investigations and operations executed by DoD elements in support of USSTRATCOM requirements and objectives. Supports the USSTRATCOM counterintelligence collection management program by reviewing, evaluating, assessing, vetting, coordinating and deconflicting FIS related counterintelligence collection activities and information throughout the DoD relating to USSTRATCOM global missions, and coordinating those collection activities throughout DoD and national-level agencies to obtain desired result. Other factors of consideration include:
- Knowledge of the interplay of geographical, political, military, economic, and industrial forces in various regions of the world as well as foreign intelligence threat entities, operations, and capabilities that may be directed against USAF, DoD and other US resources
- Knowledge of US intelligence community policies, entities, missions, resources, operations, capabilities, databases and requirements to perform intelligence research planning, operations collection, target analysis and other intelligence collection related activities
- Knowledge of the principles, concepts, and methodologies of intelligence analysis and research to include link analysis and database manipulation. Experience using Tripwire/TAC, HOTR,M3 and other intelligence/CI/HUMINT systems is highly desired
- Skill in producing finished intelligence reports and other products that are responsive to the specific needs of customers to include formulating and conducting original research; collating, organizing, and analyzing information; resolving conflicts; and presenting clear and concise findings
- Skill in handling classified data in accordance with established DoD procedures
- Ability to quickly assimilate disparate data and render knowledgeable and accurate assessments of the implications of such data; to make decisions, estimates, and recommendations under conditions of urgency and pressure based on mature judgment, experience and recognized professional standing; and to present and argue for a position effectively.
We are looking for the following qualifications:
- US Citizenship and an ACTIVE TS/SCI security clearance are required
- Possession of a Bachelors or Masters degree
- 8 years of counterintelligence or analytical experience
Desired skills, knowledge, attributes:
- Graduation from a federally recognized CI school, academy, or course is desired, as is previous CI experience at a Combatant Command, MACOM, or Service HQ level.
