Leading company has a great opportunity for a Senior Power Amplifier design engineer.
SENIOR RF DESIGNER (Cary, Research Triangle Park (RTP) area of NC.)
A Leading designer & manufacturer of RF components and modules primarily for the CATV, MMIC, Wireless Infrastructure and Broadcasting markets. We have openings in our R&D center located in Cary, NC Research Triangle Park area.
3+ Years of RF & power amplifier design experience.
---- Experience and Design emphasis = Power Amplifier Class E, F & Doherty.
*This position requires a senior person who has proven complete end-end design experience to work in a small design team quite independently.
- High Power (>10W) Amplifier Design and Development such as Doherty Amp.
- Wideband Power Amplifier Design.
- Familiar with layout tools (Cadence or DW) and circuit simulator (ADS and other EM tools)
- Hands-on experience in PCB or LTCC design and testing
- CATV Line Amplifiers
- Digital TV Amplifiers
- GaN based power amplifier experience is strongly desired.
- Desired, but not required = Design and testing experience in MMIC or/and Hybrid
