Hospital broke ground in October 2005 on a $340 million dollar major capital expansion project that will enhance our services provided to the many diverse communities of the South Bay. Were building a new and improved state-of-the-art medical facility. Throughout the project, rest assured that the safety and well-being of our patients and their families is our first priority.Hospital overall expansion effort includes the addition of a new, two-story patient wing; four-story, 120,000-square-foot medical office building; a renovated emergency department; a new central plant; and an elevated heliport next to the trauma center/emergency department. In addition, the project will expand hospitals intensive care unit with 10 new beds, redesign operating rooms especially for minimally invasive surgery, add an endoscopy suite, cardiac catheterization labs, new MRI facilities, dedicated CT scan and radiology areas and increased patient parking.

Job Summary: The Clinical Nursing Manager is a registered nurse who reports directly to the unit Director or Chief Nursing Officer. The Nursing Manager is responsible and accountable for monitoring the delivery of patient care through the utilization of the nursing process, physicians orders, established policies and procedures, established professional standards, and administrative hospital-wide policies. Requirements: - Graduate from an accredited school of nursing; BSN desired, MSN preferred. - Current California Registered Nurse License. - Current American Heart Association Healthcare Provider or American Red Cross Professional Rescuer CPR card. - Current ACLS (DOU, Telemetry, MICU, SICU, CCU) - Current PALS, NRP (NICU, Nursery, Pediatrics) - Passing score of at least 80% on the pharmacology exam
