We are seeking an experienced NURSE MANAGER - Telemetry for a busy trauma hospital. Must be a Graduate of an accredited school of nursing. Bachelors Degree in Nursing or Health related field.

Must be an RN with 2 years demonstrated management/supervisory experience.
Licensure/Certifications: Current applicable state RN license to practice in the state of Tennessee, and BLS required. ACLS and PALS preferred depending on unit of assignment.

We are seeking leadership/supervisory experience, to lead our Telemetry unit
This is a cardiac telemetry unit with 42-beds. This unit specializes in caring for Congestive Heart Failure, Chest Pain, coronary Artery Disease, and Myocardial Infarction.
29 FTEs including; 29 RNs, 1 Assistant Manager, 5 Unit Secretaries, 3 Monitor Techs, 10 CNAs.

This position reports to the CNO.

The Nurse Manager has responsibility and primary accountability in supervising a multidisciplinary environment for a section or unit. Assigns work, checks results, controls costs, conducts unit staff appraisals for performance, recommends salary increases and promotional recommendations. This position also includes budgetary responsibilities.
Responsibilities can also include planning, leadership, and marketing of area(s) of responsibility.
