Were collaborating with an organization in the Seattle metro area that operates both an outpatient pediatric clinic and school. They need a CCC-SLP to take a leadership role in speech services. Youll be responsible for evaluations and treatment in the clinic and school with an initial caseload of fewer than 20. Most kids are age 4 to 12 with a few older. Many have a diagnosis on the autism spectrum, and there are some with LD and/or ADHD. In addition, youll manage the growth of the speech services area to include growing the clinic side caseload.
You need to have a love for your profession and for the kids combined with the motivation to grow the practice. Evaluation skills, management of IEPs, report writing, etc. must be excellent. Staff education is another aspect of the job, and youll work in a collaborative team environment.
Various employment situations will be considered including direct employment and contract-to-direct. The position can be full time; or you may start out part time if desired. The right person will be able to take this initial beginning and grow with the organization, eventually becoming the manager of speech services with a staff as the caseload grows.
Must have a minimum of 2 years experience, CCC-SLP with Washington state license or eligible. Compensation based on experience, excellent benefits available.
