Our client in Montgomery, Alabama is looking for a Region Manager in their Specialty Products division. Primary job function is to promote and generate sales of the Divisions alternative energy products by representing this business to utilities, distributors, architects/engineers, builders, contractors and solar manufacturers. Responsible for developing new distribution channels and coordinating sales and marketing activities through multiple channels of distribution. Must be willing to relocate and reside in the sales territory in the Southeast.
Develop new customers in the southeast region of the United States, including utilities and wholesale distributors.
Train new utility customers, wholesale distributors, builders, contractors, and divisional sales teams on specialty products and solutions.
Provide training and marketing support to all customers in the territory.
Work closely with the customer to execute predefined promotional, advertising and merchandising plans.
Requirements
Bachelors Degree or five years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience in developing sales programs
Strong oral and written communication skills
Up to 60 % travel
Experience with alternative energy including solar residential and commercial water heating or HVAC equipment, including sales, installation, service and training.
