Product development manager needed to work in research and development department. Will report to the director of the department. Will manage other food technologists. Will be responsible for planning and managing new projects. Will be working with other departments such as Supply Chain and Production. Will be responsible for handling multiple projects at the same time. Will work with sales and customers to make professional presentations. Will work closely with co-packers and suppliers.
Must have proven experience bringing new food products to market. A combination of baked, frozen, refrigerated, meat, etc. is highly desired.
Minimum requirements:
BS degree, advanced degree would be a plus
Proven record of bring new food products to market
Team player
Must have solid experience working with food standards such as HACCP, USDA, AIB, FDA, and/or GMP.
Project and people management skills in R&D.
