The Director will oversee all responsibilities of the food procurement and sourcing team. This includes: Responsible for overseeing and administering the sourcing strategies Constant pulse on the commodities market for hedging and strategic buys Leadership and development of staff Compliance to company policies and quality measures Overall support of margins and all company initiatives
The qualified candidate will have: Seven years experience in a procurement role, minimum of 3 years experience in management of sourcing and procurement at a Senior Manger or Director level Restaurant industry, QSR or foodservice distribution experience Certified Purchasing Manager (C.P.M.) preferred 4-year degree required, MBA is a plus Ability to work in a team environment across functional responsibilities Very strong analytical skills with attention to detail and a strong business acumen
