Laboratory Supervisor - Springfield, MO
A Laboratory Supervisor is need for a 100+ bed hospital within 90 minutes of Springfield, MO. The Laboratory Supervisor has the responsibility for the planning, coordination, evaluation, and supervision of all technical and/or operational activities and staff members in the laboratory. Responsible for performing duties so as to operate the lab with the highest quality safety and integrity, and in an efficient, economical and businesslike manner are of utmost importance.
BS MT(ASCP) or equivalent
Requires an MT and BS degree in Medical Technology to meet CLIA standards for a laboratory supervisor.
General hospital laboratory knowledge is required.
Ability to use Laboratory computers is required.
Must possess advanced knowledge associated with testing within hematology, chemistry, serology, and blood bank and micro.
Working Medical Technologist with at least 6 years of experience preferred.
