Candidate applying for the position of SR. POLYMER ENGINEER will work in multi-disciplinary teams to solve problems and improve the performance our polypropylene facility. In this position,you will need an understanding of the current state of process technology in the specialty polymers industry,
Applies personnel and process safety principles within facilities
Drives improvement within operations through technical contribution and innovation
Supports new product development and plant implementation.
Supports implementation of new technology development
EDCUCATION / RESPONSIBILITIES:
- BS in Chemical Engineering
- Eight (8) to Ten (10) years experience
- Interacts effectively with all levels of the organization on technical topics
- Leader and self starter, takes the initiative in applying, developing and communicating technical issues.
- Good presentation skills, capable of representing the company to external entities.
- Demonstrated knowledge or experience in polymers manufacturing operations.
- Understands economic analysis, market issues, as they relate to use, acquisition, and development of technology.
