Position Summary:
Performs the functions of a licensed practical nurse in observing, planning,implementing, and evaluating all assigned patient care in collaboration withan RN on the patient care unit. Provides care to patients of all ages (birthto death).
Qualifications:
Vocational/Technical degree in practical nursing. Currently licensed as an LPNby the SC Board of Nursing. One year of experience preferred. Must be able toto operate Meditech and IBEX systems. Must have high level of confidentiality.
OSHA Category:
Regularly exposed to risk of bloodborne diseases (Category I). May be exposed to chemical hazards on a regular basis (Category A).
Physical Requirements:
Exert over 100 lbs. force occasionally, and/or over 50 lbs. frequently, and/or over 20 lbs. constantly. Prolonged standing, sitting, and walking. Performrepetitive tasks/motions. Distinguish colors. Must pass fit test forrespirator.
