Position Summary:
A member of the Campus leadership team the Director of Nursing is responsible for implementing the direction and culture for assigned nursing units which provides for high morale and productivity. Collaborates with other nursing directors leadership of other services and physicians to ensure a continuum of high quality care for all constituents. Responsibilities include leadership and management of fiscal and human resources. Exemplifies core values of the Medical Center in all activities. Meets organizational performance standards.
Essential Functions:
Other duties may be assigned. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job.
Education and/or Experience:
Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Demonstrated progressive leadership experience in Management of at least three years.
Certificates Licenses Registrations:
Current license as a Registered Nurse in the State of Kansas.
