Position Summary: Performs CT Scans according to established protocols or physicians' special instructions. Areas of skill: CT Scans and CT guided procedures. Transports patients as needed. Communicates effectively with staff physicians patients and their families. Provides for the physical and psychological needs of pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric patients during the procedure. Maintains accurate patient and department records. Essential Functions: Other duties may be assigned. Regular and reliable attendance is an essential function of the job. Performs procedures accurately and efficiently. Demonstrates competency in procedures and equipment operation. Provides age-appropriate patient care before during and after exam. Assists with staff orientations and competencies. Maintains accurate records. Performs clerical duties as assigned. Administers IV and oral contrast media according to policy. Participates with performance improvement activities and problem solving. Promotes good customer relations (patient physician guests etc.) Assists with cost containment efforts. Assists with State JCAHO and any other regulatory/accrediting agencies to insure departmental compliance. Communicates effectively with staff physicians patients and management.

A.) or equivalent from JRCERT approved college or technical school program. Certificates Licenses Registrations: Licensed by the Kansas State Board of Healing Arts CPR Certified in Basic Life Support ARRT Registered in Diagnostic Radiology and CT.
