Job Location: Tulsa, OK
Description:
Experienced exploration geoscientist to develop plays within the Rocky Mountains Basins. Expertise required in conventional structural plays, tight gas sand plays and basin centered gas plays coupled with a proven track record of finding and developing reserves. Experience in developing Coal Bed Methane plays is a plus. Will also be responsible for conducting geological operations within one or more newly developing fields. Responsible for collecting and analyzing geological and production data to aid in reservoir description. Responsible for related technology transfer within the team in addition to tracking industry activity and reporting trends to management. The candidate may also be required to provide geological testimony required as a result of regulatory needs. Position will be filled at a level commensurate with experience.
Requires a BS in Geophysics, Geology or related discipline and 15 years industry experience. Masters degree preferred. Requires a very high level of proficiency with Geoplus Petra software. Must have the ability to work effectively and efficiently within a team environment. Requires strong computer system skills, especially Microsoft Office suite of products. Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
