Area Operations Engineer

Job Location: Bloomfield, NM

Job Type: Full-Time

Description:
Responsibilities include:
• Working seamlessly with the Operations and Technical Services organizations to safely operate, maintain and optimize the plant facilities.
• Create effective operating procedures and parameters. Coordinate efforts to improve plant fuel and liquid recovery efficiencies and reduce operating costs.
• Provide technical input to the planning and implementation of plant maintenance projects.
• Facilitate troubleshooting efforts and coordinate the support of Subject Matter Expert engineers, when needed.
• Plan and manage local maintenance projects, meeting schedule and budget constraints.
• Coordinate Operations input with Engineering & Construction department on major new projects. Participate in planning, commissioning and start-up of new facilities.
• Coordinate Operations input to financial forecasting.
• Provide technical assistance for regulatory compliance, safety support, and technical training initiatives.
• Providing troubleshooting, analysis, and engineering modeling support for pipeline and plant facilities.The successful candidate will be results focused, comfortable in an environment that measures results and rewards success, promotes teamwork between local and central organizations, and has good interpersonal skills for building relationships with all operating, technical, commercial, and management personnel.

Requirements:
BS in Engineering required - chemical, process, mechanical, or controls engineering experience preferred or equivalent experience. Previous gas treating, processing or refinery experience desirable. Candidate of choice will be results focused:
