Engineering Technician II
Job Location: Gillette, WY
Job Type: Full-Time
Description:
• Write procedures for well completions and workovers • Create AFE's (Authorization for Expenditure) for drill wells, workover, completions, etc. • Field Work- On-site monitoring of perforating, stimulations, and E-line work - Data gathering on wells, compressors, and pipelines as required (pressures, fluid levels, etc.) • Special Projects • Analyzing well performance data • Keep the Producing Zone Table updated for multi-zone completed wells • Data mining as required (LOE, production, costs, enhancements, cementing, drilling data) • Pumps - tracking problem wells w/ frequent pump replacements • Follow up info on projects such as workovers, scour fracs, well compression • Work directly with the production engineering staff and provide support as necessary. Position will be filled commensurate with experience.
Requirements:
• Strong computer skills (Access, Excel, Word) • Knowledge of the oil & gas industry required 3-5 years- Basic downhole well bore mechanics experience required- Compression, and Gathering experience a plus • Must be detail oriented and able to manage multiple priorities and/or projects • Must be self-motivated and have ability to work in a team environment and independentlyPosition will be filled commensurate with experience.
