Description:
This role is a member of a team responsible for the functional ownership of Williams ERP applications for all Business Units, and assists in assessing, maintaining and improving the efficiency and effectiveness as well as the overall health of the ERP. This role works closely with end-users to define business requirements for both systems and processes, and works daily with Williams IT and IBM to provide direction on work to be done, consult on the best solutions, and act as a liaison between IT and end-users. The successful candidate for this position will also be expected to proactively design process/system efficiency initiatives as well as continuous process and procedure refinements.
Requirements:
Bachelors in Finance, Accounting, or Business related degree. 3-5 years Accounting systems expertise as an end-user, with a strong aptitude for the technical, and project management experience.
The successful candidate will have a strong accounting background, coupled with significant experience with ERP systems, preferably within the Energy industry. Functional knowledge of Finance and Accounting processes and proven ability to successfully communicate with a variety of levels in the organization. Strong aptitude for ERP systems' inner workings, such as table structure, rules, and data flow. Must be a self-motivated independent thinker who contributes and thrives in a team environment.
