Description:
This position will be part of the Parachute gas processing plant operations group.Williams is seeking individuals who possess skills in the following areas: electrical switchgear, instrumentation, measurement, motor controls, control loops, Distributive Control Systems, Allen Bradley PLCs, AC electrical systems and DC electrical systems.The successful candidate for this position will work independently under minimal supervision; participation in a rotating call out schedule will be required: regularly performs a wide spectrum of non-routine, moderate to high-complexity assignments requiring technical evaluation, innovation and judgment. Utilize knowledge and experience to solve moderate to high-complexity problems; will have experience in the following areas: instrumentation, measurement, controls, electrical, electronics, and mechanical maintenance; be able to apply fundamental evaluations and to present recommendations; maintain confidentialities; Demonstrates professional conduct and business ethics; consistently demonstrates proficiency in teamwork, interpersonal communication and mentoring skills; and readily identifies and promptly acts upon or efficiently organizes any efforts needed to address safety and operational efficiencies, and protection of community, personnel, environment and assets.
Requirements:
Requires excellent verbal and written communications skills. Knowledge of gas processing plant operations preferred. Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel would be desirable. The qualified candidate will have knowledge of mechanical equipment, instrumentation and electronics and be willing to learn and develop in the Operation Technician Training Program. The position will be filled at the level of the candidates¿ qualification. This position will require the successful applicant to participate in a rotating on call schedule. The successful candidate will be a true team player. Location of the Parachute Creek and Ryan Gulch plants will require successful candidates to reside in or in close vicinity to one of the following Colorado communities; Rangely, Meeker, Rifle, Parachute, or Grand Junction.High School Diploma required. VoTech certificate, Associates degree and/or three to four years oil and gas processing plant experience is preferred
