Required hours per 4 week schedule
PRN I - Works 24 hours per 4 week schedule; works 1 week-end shift per schedule.
PRN II - Works 48 hours per 4 week schedule; works 24 week-end hours per schedule.
PRN III -Works 26 week-end shifts [24 hours per week-end] per year.
PRN IIIA - Works 3 of 4 weekends - [24 hours per week-end] per 4 week matrix. The weekend off is based on unit staffing needs.
PRN IV -Works every week-end [24 hours per week-end] with 2 week-ends off per year
Qualifications:
Must be an experienced PA licensed Registered Nurse with CPR Certification and have or obtain ACLS certification.
Responsibilities:
Under the general supervision of the Nurse Manager, provides professional nursing care at the beginner practitioner level within an assigned unit according to established procedures, protocols and regulations. Coordinates care planning with other disciplines. May require specialized skills depending on unit assignment.
Department:
A2 is a 30 bed medical surgical unit, with 12 beds that are equipped for telemetry monitoring. This floor is a fast paced with moderate patient acuity, high volumes and frequent patient turn over.
