General Summary:
Under the general supervision of an educator, conducts Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) training program on an "as needed" basis.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The following are essential job accountabilities:
1 Facilitates the delivery of System-wide education programs.
2 Maintains appropriate credentialing for educational role.
3 Uses feedback from program evaluation mechanisms to improve performance.
The following are common expectations:
4 Provides outstanding service to all customers; fosters teamwork; and practices fiscal responsibility through improvement and innovation.
The following are nonessential job accountabilities for ADA purposes:
5 Fulfills annual minimum scheduling requirements, if applicable.
6 Takes responsibility for the cleanliness and appearance of education facilities and properly maintains department equipment.
Performs other related duties as identified.
Qualifications:
Note: Other combinations of formal education, training and experience may be considered.
Minimum Education Appropriate formal education according to course(s) taught
Req Cert/Registration Current ACLS/PALS Instructor Certification required
